Admission Information

Are you interested in applying to Tzu Chi University’s English-instructed public health master program? Please submit all required documents through the university’s international student application system linked here. See the application process here. Department of Public Health-Required Documents

  1. Undergraduate transcripts and/or GPA
  2. Autobiography in English
  3. Certificate of the international or national English Proficiency Tests. The English Proficiency Test must have been taken within last two years, and the score meets the international or their governmental standard:
  4. Level B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR); Score 42 of TOEFL iBT; Score 460 of TOEFL ITP; or IELTS 4.
  5. Research Plan /Study Plan
  6. Other supporting documents (such as licenses, and working experience that will be helpful in the evaluation process)
  7. A Letter of Recommendation

University-level Required Documents

  1. Application Checklist (Attachment 1)
  2. Completed application form (Attachment 2). This form has two pages. 
  3. Proof of nationality, such as passport or identification document with photo
  4. Proof of parental (both parents) nationality, such as parents’ passports or identification documents with photos. If one of them passed away, please provide the relevant documents.
  5. Status Check and Affidavit Form (Attachment 3)
  6. Documents issued by the Ministry of Interior indicating that the person concerned has given up R.O.C. nationality for at least 8 years. (For applicants who once had R.O.C. nationality and have household registration in Taiwan, but now hold foreign nationality only.)
  7. Declaration Form (Attachment 4): This form has two pages.
  8. Statement of financial condition issued by a bank or a scholarship certification. The applicant has to present written evidence(s) showing the applicant has a total of at least US$2,500 or NT$75,000 in his/her account(s). 
  9. Diploma or Certificate of Enrollment. 
  10. Transcript(s) with class rank in numbers and percentages
  11. English Language Proficiency Proof
  12. Full English Graduate Scholarship Application Form (For International Biomedical Graduate Program applicants only) (Attachment 6) – If applying for the scholarship.
